We're opening up the room

Hi everyone,

Thank you to those of you who took the time to write back. And a good late summer to all of you.

We're 25 in the room now. That's enough to deliver on two things several of you asked for: getting to know each other, and having somewhere to actually talk.

So we're turning on the community function here.

Twenty-five is small, and that's the point — it's few enough that you can genuinely get to know who's here, which stops being possible at a few hundred. You're also the first to try this out.

The first thing you'll find is a channel called Who's here. I've gone first. Tell us what you're working on, what brought you here, and one thing you know something about that the rest of us might not.
